In order to achieve this goal, we have invested S$1.5 million for a new Vazzani Press Shear Machine, Model PC 1023 AC.The machine is the most advanced pressing and shearing system for steel scrap processing with capacity of 1000 tons cutting force. These gradual compressions funnel the scrap into the compression block where the scrap is reduced to the necessary shearing width.Inclined feeding permits the use of low value scrap(bulky, dirty and large pieces) to obtain at the end of the process denser and cleaner scrap. The inclined chute forces the inert material to separate and slide out of the bottom of the shear.The quality and density of steel scrap is increased by about 50% in cornparison with that obtained from traditional horizontal feed pre-compression shears.The new press shear machine, therefore, adds real value to scrap, subsequently to our clients.
